Q. What is Journal Impact Factor (JIF)?

Ans. Journal Impact Factor (JIF) is a measure reflecting the average number of citations to articles published in journals, books, patent document, thesis, project reports, news papers, conference/ seminar proceedings, documents published in internet, notes and any other approved documents. It is measure the relative importance of a journal within its field, with journals of higher journal impact factors deemed to be more important than those with lower ones. Journal Impact factors are calculated in yearly/half- yearly/ Quarterly/Monthly for those journals that are indexed in Journal Reference Reports (JRR).

What is the minimum requirement for evaluation of Journal Impact Factor (JIF)?

Ans. Publisher /Editor in chief of The Journal filled the registration form and send us scan copy of it. After a successful registration you will receive confirmation along with the steps to follow to complete the conditions of evaluation.

Q. Who can submit a journal for indexing?

Ans.The journal can be submitted by Publisher /Editor in chief of The Journal.
After the journal is submitted, publisher and/or editor-in-chief and executive editor (depending on available information) are informed of the existence of such a situation. If they do not object within the 30 days, the journal is accepted to be indexed in Journal Impact Factor (JIF) Master List.
